Hatch Green Chile Blue Cheese Dip
Zia Hatch Green Chile Blue Cheese Dip
This hot, savory, and comforting dip that goes well with chips, vegetables, wings, and more is perfect to get you through the remaining chilly months of football season.
Ingredients:
- 1 8oz Package Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/4 - 1/2 jar Zia Hatch Green Chile, strained
- 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 cup Blue Cheese Crumbles
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Hot Sauce of choice
- 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Chives, chopped, plus more for garnish
- 2 cloves fresh Garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Chips, carrots, celery sticks, wings, etc. to dip
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 325 degrees. Mash together garlic and salt until the texture is paste like.
2. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, heavy cream, mayonnaise, mashed garlic, Worcestershire Sauce, hot sauce and black pepper. Once combined, place in a food processor or blender and run until the mixture is smooth. Once smooth, add in blue cheese and chives and pulse until combined. Move mixture into a small baking dish (small enough to dip from right out of the oven) and stir in Zia Hatch Green Chile.
3. Bake 35-40 minutes or until dip is melted and bubbling. Toward the end of baking, broil to add a molten look and texture to the top of the dip. Remove from oven, garnish with more chives, and serve warm.
