Hatch Green Chile Pesto

Zia Hatch Green Chile Pesto



2 cups fresh basil (washed)

1/2 cup grated romano or parm-reggiano

1/2 cup olive oil

1/3 cup pine nuts (walnuts possible sub)

3 garlic cloves minced (3 tsp)

1/4 tsp salt

1/8 tsp black pepper

3-4 tbsp Zia Hatch Green Chile




- In food processor, blend nuts cheese, garlic, salt and pepper

- Add basil 

- Slowly add olive oil as you blend until desired consistency (about 1/2 cup)

- Add 3-4 tbsp of Zia Hatch Green Chile and give it one last blend
