Hatch Green Chile Rajma Nachos
Zia Hatch Green Chile and Brooklyn Delhi Rajma Nachos
This collaboration recipe with our friends at Brooklyn Delhi is a delicious Indian American twist on nachos.
This is a great comforting recipe choice for a delicious vegetarian appetizer or side dish for gatherings.
Ingredients:
- 1 package Brooklyn Delhi Rajma Bean Masala
- 1/2 - full Jar Zia Hatch Green Chile, strained
- Tortilla Chips of choice, enough to fill a sheet pan
- 1 8oz Package Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese
- 4oz Shredded Goat Cheese
- 4oz Paneer Cheese, diced into small cubes
- Pico de Gallo
- Brooklyn Delhi Spicy or Sweet Mango Chutney, to taste
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions:
- Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a cast iron or stovetop pan, add oil and bring to heat over medium. Add the diced cubes of paneer cheese and cook until browned. Once browned, remove from heat.
- While paneer is browning, in a stovetop pot mix together Brooklyn Delhi Rajma Bean Masala and strained Zia Hatch Green Chile. Cook for a few minutes until hot, stirring occasionally.
- While beans are heating up, cover a sheet pan with tortilla chips. Layer the Rajma Bean and Hatch Chile mixture over the tortilla chips, and sprinkle the cheeses (mexican blend, goat cheese, and browned paneer) evenly over the mixture. Place in the oven and bake until the cheese is melted (estimated 5-10 minutes)
- Remove from oven and top with pico de gallo and Brooklyn Delhi Mango Chutney.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
